Exploring for polymetallic Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu  deposits in central Peru
Tayco Pacific Resources S.A.C.
The Tayco Project
  • The Tayco Project comprises 5 exploration licences totalling 2819 Ha
  • The Tayco licences are located on an established polymetallic belt in Lima Department, central Peru
  • Excellent infrastructure and access to project area: 135 km / 4.5 hours east of Lima on good roads
  • Ag-Pb-Zn Carbonate Replacement (CRD) mineralisation with grades of ‘oxide’ mineralisation in adjacent concessions (La Victoria Mine, <500m away) up to: Zn: 4%;  Pb: 22%; Ag: 23 oz / t;
  • Current geological model: polymetallic veins, ‘mantos’ and larger high temperature carbonate replacement bodies controlled by structure, following fault / fracture structures and geology within the Cretaceous limestone / marine sedimentary sequences.
  • Existing polymetallic mines and projects on the belt include:
  • Santander (Trevali) – P & P Reserves: 1.93 Mt @ 4.38% Zn, 0.75% Pb, 30.79 g/t Ag; M & I Resources (Magistral): 2.99 Mt @ 4.77 % Zn, 0.82% Pb, 34.32 g/t Ag
  • Iscaycruz (Glencore) – M & I Resources: 4.4 Mt @ 5.7% Zn, 0.5% Pb, 0.5% Cu, 28 g/t Ag
  • Ariana (Southern Peaks Mining LP) – P & P Reserves: 10.6 Mt @ 1.01% Cu, 1.27% Zn, 0.75 g/t Au, 15.1 g/t Ag ( https://southernpeaksmining.com/ariana/ )
  • Yauliyacu (Glencore) – M & I Resources: 19 Mt @ 3.4% Zn, 1.7% Pb, 0.4% Cu, 206 g/t Ag
